A quick note: When a business uses SMS Pasal to message its customers, it decides what to send and who to send it to. Businesses using SMS Pasal are responsible for collecting their customers’ data and obtaining any required consent before sending messages. They are also responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate, lawful, and up to date.

SMS Pasal only provides the messaging platform and does not verify customer data submitted by businesses. If any data is incorrect, unauthorized, or collected without proper consent, the business is solely responsible. If recipients have questions about how their information was collected or used, they should contact the business that sent the message directly.

1. What We Collect

Account details – when we create your account, we collect:

  • Your full name and registered business name in Nepal
  • Email address and phone number
  • KYC documents (such as a company registration certificate or PAN document), since SMS services in Nepal are regulated by Nepal Telecom.
  • Billing and payment information

Message data – to send your messages, we process:

  • Recipient phone numbers
  • Message content (text or media)
  • Your sender ID (optional)
  • Send times and delivery status

Technical data – our systems automatically log:

  • Your IP address, browser, and device type
  • Login times and dashboard activity
  • Cookies that keep you signed in and help us improve the platform

Support data – when you contact us, we keep records of chats, emails, and calls to help you and improve our service.

2. How We Use It

We use your information to:

  • Deliver your messages to the right recipients
  • Verify your identity through KYC checks
